No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa debuts for the Washington Wizards on Wednesday after missing the first four games of his rookie season with an ankle injury.
Dybantsa is slated to start for the Wizards as part of a lineup featuring Trae Young, Anthony Davis, Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George when Washington welcomes the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 19-year-old was injured Oct. 16 in the final game on Washington’s preseason slate. The Wizards have started the regular season 2-2 and will conclude a three-game road trip on Wednesday.
Dybantsa led the nation in scoring with 25.5 points per game during his lone college campaign at BYU in 2025-26.
